Per the website #thefactsite, Cards Against Humanity bought an island in Maine to preserve wildlife. It is called Hawaii 2

Purchased by Cards Against Humanity in 2014, Hawaii 2 consists of six acres of land, and is located in St. George Lake, Maine. This island is also know as Birch Island and is near the town of Liberty.

April is a great month for meteor showers. One of which is the Lyrids meteor shower, which appears from April 16th to April 26th each year. There’s another one called the Eta Aquariids meteor shower that can be seen onwards from April 21st

N95 Fit Testing

The system is back to having to be fit tested annually on your birthday. After communicating with Employee Health, if you did not have a fit test on your birthday in the past year you need to make an appointment and will have to do again in your birthday month. So for example the last time I was fit tested was 2021 when there was a shortage of the mask that was fit tested for. I have not been fit tested since. So I am going next week to be fit tested and then will have to go again in October this fall as that is my birthday month. This is essential to get in and tested as this is a regulation that we have fallen out on with DNV in the past. Call Employee Health is you have any questions.

Patient Experience 2

Patient Voices, cont. through April 17, 2023

They took so good care of me. Explain to me why I needed to take some of the medications. Marian, nurse, she was nice with me. They took the baby out with her arms crossed and her arm got hurt.

The post partum department nurse Paige. The midwife and doctor who delivered. Paige kept me company and made me comfortable. The midwife Monika talked me through everything and helped me. The practice could have informed me about C-section sooner.

I felt like no one cared there, I would press the call button and it would be 60 to 90 minutes before the nurse showed up. Then when the doctor was taking me off the IV and switching to pill form, I was not given pain medication for the entire day. When it was finally brought up I was told there was miscommunication which to me just proves they didn't care about me or were even paying attention to each other. Half the time the nurse would give me the pills then just leave, not even confirming if I had took them or asked if I need anything else. I went 5 days and my bedding was never changed once, even after I requested sheets as I had been sweating, and my wound was only cleaned once by a nurse.

My first nurse was amazing and so helpful and kind. The man who did my epidural was horrible and rude. The room they put me in after delivery was unprepared and super tiny. It took the nurses 30 to 45 minutes to come in and check on me each time I made a call.

CAPTIAL BUDGET WISH LIST

Its time to put together the capital budget, items over $1000/ lifespan of greater than 3 years. You can help by putting together items that your department needs (different than want). I have passed out a paper to put your wish list together and I need them back by Tuesday, April 25th.
