Frequent asked questions What is your style? I have a photo journalistic Style and a Fine Art approach to photography. I adjust my working style depending on the clients and my editing style depending on the mood, the emotions I take from the session Do you have a studio? I work on location. That means you can chose the best place for you and your family or I can suggest a location. I am based in the idyllic village of Sedlescombe, but I am happy to travel aside. How many photographs will you take? I take a large number of photographs, until I am happy with what I get and I reached my goal for the session. The number of photographs you will see varies from 10 to 35, depending on the type of session, your goals etc. What if my child/baby is ill? A poorly baby/child isn’t very conducive to happy photos! I am happy to reschedule your session once to another date at no extra cost, please try and give me as much notice as possible. What if it rains? We can get creative and shoot in the rain or we can go indoor. If I decide on the day of the shoot that the weather is unsuitable then we can reschedule at no extra cost. Do I have to chose in advance what products I want to order? No, you can wait until you have seen your gallery of images before you decide what products you want to go for and which images you wish to purchase. Your session fee is payable in advance to confirm the booking, then the rest is payable when you order from your gallery. Nevertheless a guideline of what you are looking for would greatly help me better recommend certain types of products that suits you and are within your budget. How much do I have to spend? There is no minimum order. I don’t give you the hard sell and my aim is for the images to sell themselves instead! It is important however that you ensure you have the budget to purchase products from your gallery, there is nothing worse than seeing all of these beautiful images of your family that you aren’t in a position to buy! Most clients spend between £800-£1600 on products after viewing their gallery.
