LOMAA – League of Oakmont Maintained Area Associations
LOMAA is an advisory and resource group, with a mission to assist and educate members of the governing boards of Oakmont’s 37 maintained area associations (homeowner associations), such as the neighborhoods represented by signs pictured to the right. All HOA board members are invited to be active in LOMAA meetings and educational efforts.

LOMAA is a central source for information on compliance with the Davis-Stirling Act, which consists of legal requirements for common-interest developments, such as our HOA’s. Through the LOMAA board, information is available regarding updated codes, dispute resolution and delinquency procedures. Additionally, through an annual survey, LOMAA gathers information from Oakmont’s HOA governors about such things as dues and insurance amounts paid, as well as costs and satisfaction with contractors used, such as landscapers, painters and arborists. A summary of this data is distributed to the HOA boards of governors at an annual June workshop.
The LOMAA board of directors meets monthly, and meetings are open to interested parties. Board members are encouraged to attend periodic educational seminars offered by the Executive Council of Homeowner Associations (ECHO). In addition, the board presents quarterly meetings for members of all of Oakmont’s HOA boards. Guest speakers and materials distributed at these meetings are valuable in assisting HOA board members in carrying out their respective responsibilities.
