





Oak Farm Montessori School is a place for learning and exploration; both during the school year and all summer long. Our talented staff of teachers and professionals have created interactive and engaging programs that will keep your child active, outdoors and most importantly; screen free!
Camps will run June 12th - August 4th, with no camps offered the week of July 3rd. All camps are Monday through Friday on the Oak Farm school campus with drop off at 8:30am and pick up at 3:30pm. CAMPERS SHOULD REGISTER ACCORDING TO THE GRADE THEY WILL BE ENTERING FALL OF 2023. Children entering first grade can register for Primary camp, if needed.
Online camp registration will close one week before the camp start date. For example, the June 12th camp registrations will close on Monday, June 5th . If you want to add your child less than a week prior to a camp starting, please contact the Summer Camp Director.
• All camps are subject to cancellation based on enrollment.
• All registrations are considered final and non-refundable as of May 21st, unless we have a wait-list and can fill your spot immediately. In this instance, refunds will be given minus processing fees.
• Refunds will be given the week of May 22nd for any camps canceled due to low enrollment.

Appropriate for ages 18 months through 3 years, MUST be a current 2022 - 2023 OFMS Toddler student.
Campers will enjoy a summer time version of their regular school day with work time, snack, community, lunch, nap, and lots of outdoor play. Children will go on walks in the woods, hikes to the gazebo and music garden, explore plants, dance to music, make crafts, and splash in the water. Snack will be provided. Adventure awaits in the big outdoors. Campers will be building forts, cooking food over a campfire, learning outdoor skills, and using nature for crafts.

Let’s make music together! Campers will explore the beat, rhythm and art of music using their entire bodies, and craft their own instruments to explore song and dance. Our music endeavors will help develop coordination, language, self confidence, self esteem, and fine motor skills. Can you feel the beat?

Let’s use everyday household supplies to measure, classify, create and observe chemical reactions; then taste these delicious foods! Campers will explore kitchen science through hands on experiences and wonderful reads. Conservations concepts will be taught to deepen their understanding of the environment and gain appreciation for our ecosystems. Cost: $140
Explore STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) topics through science experiments and demonstrations, discover simple machines, create and design through engineering and art. Campers will also learn about famous STEAM leaders from the past. Cost: $140
Let’s investigate water in all its forms! As a community we will answer: Where does water come from? What are its uses? How does it help humans and our environment? And why should we conserve it? Be prepared for a wet and wild week! Cost: $140
Discover math all around our environment! Five days of hands-on math activities that are so fun kids won’t even know they are learning! Indoors and outdoors, we will bring counting, sequencing, matching, and more into our camp lessons.

A week of adventures exploring the different campus habitats on our 155+ acres! Travel across the prairie, hike through the forest, trek through wetlands, and explore the farm. Forge the forest floor for found objects to create art. Climb down trees and build forts building confidence and large motor skills. Cost: $140

This half-day camp from 8:30 - 12:00pm is an introduction to the world of Montessori for your young child. Campers will spend the morning with an OFMS Montessori trained teacher in the prepared environment learning practical life skills and navigating the world around them. Cost: $75 (New OFMS Primary students only)

Art is a language, a form of communication. Campers will explore this language from its basis with a Montessori approach. We will experiment with different techniques to learn about space and recreate it beauty. To wrap up the week, we will travel to the Fort Wayne Museum of Art! Grades 1 - 3/Cost: $145
The outdoors is a wonderful place to find natural beauty, but also a wonderful environment to find pieces to create your own art. Explore the campus all week gathering materials for team projects, self-expression, and creative masterpieces. Summer is meant to be spent outdoors playing games with friends, eating popsicles, and exploring the land around us! Join us for a week creating sensational summertime memories in a structured environment that will support your child’s needs and plane of development. Campers will build their confidence, leadership skills, and develop sportsmanship!
Grades 1 - 4/Cost: $140
Campers of all faiths are invited to explore the Bible; its stories and history. We will expand our learning through crafts, games, and songs indoors, and outdoors. Short discussion periods will allow campers to express themselves and hear from their community of peers. Grades 1 - 6/Cost: $140

No yawning - just yarning! Camp will be full of creativity with yarn, string and rope; sticks, fabric, glue, paper and more! We will have an animal art day, teepee building day, string art day, and Friday free choice art day. To break it up, we always explore the outdoors and add in water play on hot summer days. Want to learn the ukulele but unsure where to start? The ukulele is a versatile and easy-to-learn instrument suitable for all ages, even those with smaller hands. Join us for a week of jamming, singing, rhythm games, and “science of sound” activities to develop beginning ukulele skills. No experience necessary! Ukuleles provided for camp use only. Grades 4 - 6/Cost: $140
Get prepared for the fall basketball season by improving fundamental skills: shooting form, passing, dribbling, defensive and offensive plays, and team building. Campers will take part in warm ups, conditioning, and ball handling drills each day and enjoy five on five scrimmages! Get the blood pumping and sweet a rolling, we are working to build better basketball players this summer! Each camper will receive a OFMS basketball camp t-shirt!

What is the key to creativity? Join us to find out! Camper will receive a key to “enter” each day into the creative zone through the Team Fort. Create a mini fort version to take home along with sculptures, wooden arts, and craft projects. With a focus on found objects turned into art, campers will be able to release their creativity! In just one week, campers will travel around the world to learn about the cultures of many different countries and regions. Each day we will explore a different continent or region of the world. Camper will participate in crafts, music and dance, and games from different countries. We will try out some international snacks, learn to speak a few words and phrases in different languages and more! Let’s get ready to find our inner world traveler!

July 19 is National Camp Kindness Day and we will participate with intentional generosity and kindness! Spend the week doing random acts of kindness within our school, community, and selves. We will be helping in the gardens and on the farm, play themed based activities, and cooperative games, and plan cool projects to celebrate the value and impact of kindness for our community. To end our week we will take a field trip to Kendallville nonprofits and have a picnic at Bixler Lake. Grades 4 - 6/Cost: $145
Dive into all things outdoors this week! Explore native plants, campus wildlife, hiking at Chain of Lakes, a visit to the OFMS farm, and more! Summer weather means outdoor games, water play, popsicles, juicy fruit, and making memories with friends. Connect with nature and the world around us!

Beginners and advanced skaters this camp is calling you! Each morning we will travel to Skatin’ Station in Auburn for three hours. Skaters will learn basic skating skills, practice simple drills, play skate games, and advance to tricks while having fun being active! Afternoons will be spent back on campus having lunch, doing craft projects, and water play. On Friday, we will celebrate a week of hard work with a pizza party before leaving the roller rink! Skate rental is included in camp cost. We highly encourage sending your camper with protective gear i.e. wrist, elbow and knee pads especially for beginners. It’s going to be a rollin’ great time! Be a part of the cast of “Bagful of Fables!” This play is a collection of Aesop’s Fables presents Aesop with attitude! Join this lively troupe of actors and evan Aesop, as they bring to the stage the tried and true stories of “The Fox and the Crow”, “The Fox and the Grapes”, “ The Tortoise and the Hare”, “The Wolf in the Sheep’s Clothing”, and “The Sun and the Wind”. Final performance will be held on campus on Friday, July 28, time to be announced.

Learn about the life cycle of animals, the biology of their bodies, why they have certain behaviors, and their purpose on Earth. Campers will integrate this knowledge with work and observations on our campus farm and an educational trip off campus to either Black Pine Sanctuary or the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo.

Does your child have a sweet tooth and love to spend time in the kitchen? Allow your child to explore the possibilities of baking fantastic creations in the OFMS kitchen! Campers will develop their cooking/baking skills and use them for years to come. They will also complete a cookbook so they can repeat their delicious treats at home for you! It’s a win win. Connect with messy science! Camper will conduct hands-on experiments and activities that will explore the different states of matter and gain a deeper understanding of concepts, such as, viscosity, density, and solar power. They will work together to create amazing eruptions, awe-inspiring explosions, and delicious scientific snacks. Sign up for these science sensations!
