One of the first Key Club events I attended was the Brookhurst Pantry Food Distribution. After consistently volunteering at the pantry for a full year, it has now become one of my favorite serviceeventsandpartofmybiweeklyroutine

Brookhurst Pantry Food DistributionishostedbyDwelling Place Anaheim and takes place every other Saturday from 8 AM to 11 AM Volunteers are always welcome, as it takes full teamwork and cooperation to bag various food items, compile theminshoppingcarts,andhaul themintohundredsofcars

The thing I love most about Brookhurst Pantry is the people –the Key Clubbers, Dwelling Place volunteers, and the families we serve.Itfeelsamazingtobe surrounded by people with the same passion and love for service – people who are willing to get up at 7 AM on a Saturday morning, workthreehoursinpouringrain,or haul heavy boxes in the scorching sun. Brookhurst Pantry is an amazing community of volunteers who are happy to make a difference As the summer rolls around, make sure to give this eventatry!
