What significance do “divisions”haveintheKeyClub community and what even are they in the first place? In Key Club,divisionsareoverseenbya designated district. These districts are typically defined by stateornation.

Districts are led by a governor that are elected to the position

For Oxford Academy, we are under CNH District (CaliforniaNevada-Hawaii) and D30sSuns division. Currently, there are 33 districts with the possibility of one forming. There are 4 levels of governance, District, Region, Division, and Club These communities of districts are dividedbydivisionswithin.

Divisionsareanareaofschools which are put into regions, or groups.

To determine your division, it depends on the area you are in/the school you attend to. Sinceeachdivisionisalsolikea sub-unit of the district and have a similar structure of leadership positions. The divisions have lieutenant governors,whoareresponsible for upholding Key Club policies and providing support to the multiple clubs within their division. The lieutenant governor (LTG) also manages the communication between the district and club. In our instance, Austin Alves is our lieutenant governor and he’d oversee communicating with CNHbacktoD30sSuns’clubs.

The significance of Divisions is because it is a bridge to meetingnewKeyClubbersfrom other schools and divisions/regions Mostdivisions host divisional rallies/events which allows socializing, while also taking part on service projects and forming a strong community. These divisions help Key Clubbers from all over thestateestablishthosestrong connections and experience core memories with new people/friends. Events such as Fall Rally South bring Key Clubbers together to share a prideful moment with their divisioninspiritbattlesandalso seeotherdivision’shardworking chants too. It is a colorful community for that day where people are gathered to also celebratetheirhardwork.
