Welcome back, hawks! I hope you all had a fantastic summer! Can’t wait to see all your beautiful faces back at the general Key Club meetings! It is never too early to start serving; returning members need 20 hours of service to attend RTC! Keep up good school habits early, y’all! Let’s start this year off great! Please email me pictures and videos from all service events: nwcta.bulletineditor@gmail.com Keep on serving, Hawks!

Heya Key Clubbers! Hope most of you had an amazing end to summer and a great start to school! As we move into the school year make sure to keep up with your classes as well as service hours. Don’t forget there are opportunities everywhere to do service, not just the ones we put out! Other than that, stay safe hawks!

Freshman

The Freshman Orientation was a pretty fun experience. We got to see all the incoming freshmen and their parents and we encouraged them to join the club. I remember when I was an incoming freshman I didn’t get to look and hear about all the clubs we had at our school and I’m glad that this year’s freshmen did. We had a little booth and we would tell those who were interested about what Key Club is and about the different events we go to, such as RTC and Dance Marathon. I really enjoyed helping out at the Freshman Orientation and I can’t wait to meet all of this year’s new Key Clubbers! -Aaliyah Delbarrio

orientation

I’m approaching my 4th year in key club, so freshman orientation was a fulfilling experience for me. It felt like everything was coming full circle... speaking highly of key club came just naturally. It may be because I’m an outgoing person, but it’s because I know that I owe a lot of my high school experience to the people I’ve served, the events I’ve attended and to the many friends that I’ve made in key club. I made sure to emphasize that joining key club was one of the best decisions I’d made thus far, and I’m hoping some of the kids I spoke to will be able to say the same one day. -Aneka Castillo

august dcm. The August DCM was my very first DCM and I thought it was really fun! Since it was a joint DCM, it was really nice seeing clubs from the four divisions come together. There were a lot of things being sold at the DCM such as pins, food, and boba. There was also a face painting booth which I loved. We also went into little “workshops” and talked about ways to encourage people to join Key Club as well as ways to complete our service hours. Overall, it was really enjoyable and it was so fun interacting with people from other schools and divisions. I would highly recommend attending a DCM to all Key Clubbers because it’s such a fun and unique experience. -Aaliyah Delbarrio
