TAKE A LESSON! BRING A FRIEND!

Thank you to all who attended EATS N ARTS last October at Malee’s On Main. SNAP received $300 from Malee’s thanks to your dining! DONATIONS for the SNAP SUMMER YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP FUND are welcome year-round. Pass it Forward and help the next generation develop their talents and skills. Please make your checks out to SNAP with memo “summer camp scholarship fund” and place in the Basket at SCUCC or send to SNAP at 4425 N Granite Reef Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. The goal of $1,000 for 2012 SNAP summer camp assistance went over the top to $1,296. Many thanks from SNAP & the children who were able to attend a camp in 2012 thanks to your generous scholarship donations. Pass it Forward and let’s make the 2013 SNAP Summer Youth Scholarship goal $1,500! CHECK THE SNAP WISH LIST on the breezeway bulletin board. There are physical items and volunteer tasks listed. If you see something you can donate or do, please call 480-947-4770 or email info@yoursnap.org . Your help is needed to make SNAP a thriving arts outreach for our neighborhood and greater community. Every item and hour helps, so thank you so very much! AS A 501(c)3 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION, SNAP must maintain an active board of directors in addition to its current volunteer programming committee and volunteer office staff. Therefore, in addition to a need for volunteers to help with many ongoing tasks, SNAP is truly in need of a few arts supportive folks who are willing to roll up their sleeves and serve on a board of directors that will help guide SNAP into the future for our community and as an SCUCC arts ministry. Please call the SNAP office 480947-4770 to make an appointment with Lisa Sampson, Jill Marderness or Rob Marrlett to share your ideas and find out how you can best help SNAP grow to the next level. You may also support SNAP through the COMPASS FOR YOUR CAUSE program offered at any BBVA Compass Bank branch. When you open a new account at Compass, please use Affinity Code 90921 and SNAP will receive a $50 contribution from BBVA Compass For Your Cause! THANK YOU! SNAP is supported in part by the Arizona Commission on the Arts with funding from the State of Arizona and the National Endowment for the Arts.
