Owner of clothing boutique AdiVa, Adi Joseph, tells us how the Hale high street boutique came about, and passes on the latest trends.

and people would ask me where they were from. I realised that people wanted what I wore, and it wasn’t available in Hale.”

The shop attracts loyal repeat customers due to the exceptional and personal service Adi provides: “I have regulars who have been with me for 20 years. It’s beautiful because some of my customers, I used to dress their little girls, and those girls are now full-grown women bringing their own daughters in. I have a lot of regulars, but I’m also reaching new customers all the time through social media and by word of mouth. Even though I’m based in Manchester, we ship all over the world, so I have customers in Israel, America, and even Australia.”

Naturally, as a clothing shop owner, Adi keeps ahead of all the latest trends: “During the pandemic everything was casual easy to wear clothing like leggings and track suits – now I’m seeing a huge surge in parties and events, so the demand is for dressier dresses and more upscale clothing. We’re selling lots of lovely floral maxi dresses, Boho style dresses and beautiful floaty and silky pieces.

I have also recently introduced a range of super-sculpting swimwear and beautiful holiday beachwear. People are traveling more now. We also have a fabulous range of affordable, super sculpting jeans in the store.”
