for induction hobs rather than gas hobs due to improved induction technology, and it’s more sustainable too.

Owner of PGN Kitchens, Phillip George Nott has been designing kitchens since 1997, with experience as a designer and manager for some of the UK’s biggest kitchen retailers and suppliers. Phillip is dedicated to performing business the correct way after observing years of workplace mistakes, making for optimal customer satisfaction, bringing in five-star reviews on Trustpilot with an Excellent rating.

While its showroom is modest in size, it offers a product portfolio with a wider range and heavier emphasis on products which stand the test of time. It also prides itself on its no-nonsense approach to designing your dream kitchen with its simple four-step process. Each customer will receive a free consultation, a detailed design and quote, expert installation of your kitchen, and a final visit from Phillip to ensure you are delighted with your new kitchen.

For spring 2023, new trends of cabinets in beautiful blues and greens are emerging, and at PGN, popular colours include: Indigo and Hartforth Blue and Fir and Reed Green. All of which can be complemented by a stunning new quartz worktop to complete the look. This year there has also been a heightened demand

Recently Phillip had the experience of working with Mrs. Schwartz in Whitefield to create her dream Passover kitchen within a budget. PGN Kitchens added the perfect finishing touch – removable and reusable temporary worktops to save her from wrapping her permanent tops in tin foil. With unrivalled knowledge and experience built up over many years the company was able to deliver Mrs. Schwartz’s ideal kitchen within her budget, as its pricing is not only sensible, but also transparent.

To anyone considering a new kitchen Phillip recommends starting with a wish list divided into needs and wants. This includes colour, style, and door type of cabinets, the surface of your worktops and the number and types of appliances you’ll need designing into the area. This is also the time to think about the size and arrangement of your cabinets, type of hob, and units for refrigeration, dishwashing, and laundry. After you have the essentials pinned down you can start to think of special features such as a kitchen island, spotlights or special lighting, and any kind of internal accessories such as pull-out storage you think will improve your experience.

Before founding PGN Kitchens, Phillip spent the last seven years managing Kitchens of Altrincham before taking over the showroom with his own company in January 2022. He says this was a “pivotal moment” as he was now able to focus the business on his values of service and satisfaction, above profits, offering the best possible products for a budget range along with the highest levels of customer service and after sales service.

Phillip also finds freedom in how he manages his own company in his ability to give back to the community, as a result PGN Kitchens is the proud sponsor of Timperley Hockey Club Ladies 1st team making them a company absolutely at the heart of Manchester’s community.
