ABOUT ME

Assalamualaikum, my name is Siti Nuraini Binti Juranai from Johor Baharu. I was born on December 11, 1998 at Hospital Pont ian. I am youngest of 4 sibiling. I live at Kampung Sri Bukit Panjang. My primary school at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sri Bukit Panjang and graduated in year 2010. My secondary school at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tan Sri Osman Mohd Sa’at and graduated in year 2015. In the year 2017, I have continue our education under the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato’ Mohd Yunos Sulaiman. In 2018 i have continued studies at Universiti Teknologi Mara, UiTM Shah Alam, Selangor for 3 year at the level Bachelor of Textile Design (Hons.)

LOGO BRIEFF The logotype “NJ” means “Nuraini Juranai” it is a combination between my name and also my father’s. These logotypes use the Font BONOMI MT. The color I use is red and also purple. To be placed in the Letter “NJ”. The color used in the “NJ” section is inspired by the POP ART color references. Since Pop Art have a bright colors and soft colors this is a beautiful color combinations often obvious. This color can attracts attention and can provide inspiration. This logo can also be used as the unique identity of my brand.

SALMONELLA BACTERIA WHAT are Salmonella Bacteria? Salmonella bacteria are one of the bacteria that cause cross- contamination from food and raw meat to food that has been cooked during preparation or storage or cross-contamination.

DEGREE FINAL YEARS PRODUCT

Symptoms? Nausea, stomach cramps, bloody diarrhea with mucus, and fever. Symptoms can start to occur as soon as a few hours after eating tainted food, but can also be delayed for as long as several days. The average incubation time for the bacteria is around 3 days.

Where Does Salmonella Bacteria Come From? Salmonella is an enteric bacterium, which means that it lives in the intestinal tracts of humans and other animals. The most common source of Salmonella infection in humans comes from eating foods contaminated.


COLOUR REFERENCES

DESIGN PRODUCT 1

POP ART Since bright colors and soft colors are beautiful color combinations often obvious, it is not surprising that the dominant colors seen in pop art work are the primary colors, red, blue and yellow. This colour can attracts attention and can provide inspiration to produce a design look interensting , fresh, new, bold and original.

The colour references i use such as Black (#000000), Blue (#1998CB), Jonquil Yellow (#F0CD13), Vivid Tangerine Pink (#F2A28D), Cinnabar Red (#EC3C37), Light Blue (#AFDBE5), Champagne (#F2EAC7), Celadon Green (#B7E6B5), and Lavender Gray (#BFBED8) this colour used for all four products.

This design for product 1 which is the production of Digital Printing (length fabric). I combines motif of Salmonella Bacteria to produce design development for product 1. The arrangement on the design is overlap, look bold and look simple.

This design for product 2 which is the Japanese sushi chef uniform. I put various motifs, such as in terms of size, pattern and shape. The motifs found in the design are motifs from subject matter Salmonella Bacteria.

JAPANESE SUSHI CHEF UNIFORM The design on the Japanese Sushi Chef Uniform is a kind of Digital Printing of Salmonella Bacteria motifs and designs. In the arrangement of the textile design, i has composed the motifs and design in a form of all over repeat, overlap, look bold, and look simple. The motifs and designs found in the Japanese Sushi Chef Uniform are found in the Salmonella Bacteria motifs and designs.

This design for product 3 which is the Japanese sushi waiters uniform. The design on this product used the motif of Salmonella Bacteria. The design i produce was arranged with small motifs up to large motifs.

JAPANESE SUSHI CHEF UNIFORM The motifs and design applied on the Japanese Sushi Waiters Uniform is a Salmonella Bacteria motif. The arrangement that the researcher composed in this textile design is all over repeat, overlap, look bold, and look simple. But the arranged motifs show that there are motifs that seem to be magnified and there are some motifs that are diminished. Researcher use Cotton Drill fabric for this Japanese Sushi Waiters Uniform.

This product there are 2 designs in production to produce product 4. Product head scarf in design for digital printing has a design like all over and there are three layers namely background, middle and top design. The arrangement that i composed in this design is overlap, and look bold.

JAPANESE SUSHI CHEF UNIFORM The surface design of this product is also inspired from the Salmonella Bacteria motifs and design. The motifs and design of these head scarf are not same and been created in different placement of the design. On top of that, the technique applied of the both head scarf also similar use digital printing.

This is a painting class. Pictures of drawings there are 4 women were bought by buyers for RM150. This work was first sold during my time as a painter, I am very proud of it.

CERAMIC JEWERLY

This class is related to the method of making ceramics. We were taught by the lecturers how to make jewelry such as necklaces, rings, earrings and bracelets made of stainless steel that was molded into jewelry items for women. This class was very fun because the lecturers were very good and taught us clearly the use of clay can be used as a variety of necessities for the community.

INTERNSHIP

Bumihayat Industries Sdn Bhd is a factory that produces various items such as Jersey, T-shirt Printing, logo embroidery, and specializes in sewing various types of Tshirts and Uniforms. The factory is located in Masai, Johor, Malaysia. Bumihayat Industries Sdn Bhd has received the Best SME Company 2020 Award (Small and Medium Enterprises). During the period of 3 months on 17 AUGUST 2020 to 6 NOVEMBER 2020, I have conducted industrial training at BUMIHAYAT INDUSTRIES SDN.BHD during my time in this organization, I was able to go through new experiences in my life in the world of work. While I was in this organization I was able to practice what I had learned while at the University and get to know the materials, equipment and tools used in industrial training. The most important aspect of following this industry training is, for me it can give students the opportunity to get to know the real world of work. In addition, it can also increase the knowledge of students and can open the mind to think about how a product is produced and can identify ways to overcome problems that arise while at work. It can also help me increase my self -confidence in my abilities. The most important aspect of following this industry training is, for me it can give students the opportunity to get to know the real world of work. While undergoing industrial training at this company, I have been placed in the silk screen printing, embroidery and also some other jobs that I also need to learn. In undergoing industrial training, I have been given time for 8 hours a day, starting from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm every day starting from Monday - Saturday. The following is a weekly summary when I underwent industrial training yesterday for 3 months at Bumihayat Industries Sdn.Bhd.

SILK SCREEN PRINTING

Make Job oder customade (for sewing) and Job oder ready made clothes.

Job oder is issued according to customer’s requirements. Design that has been released.

Installation of filters “saringan”. Filters “saringan” on Meshstretchers.

Screening “saringan” there are 2 types of Thick and Thin.


Place Photo Emulsion on top of the filter “saringan”.

Preset sizes are 4 inches, 3 inches and 8 inches. Place the design on top of the Photo Emulsion.

Dry using a hair dryer. Measure according to a predetermined Measure.

Once ready. Put the shirt on the silk screen printing table.


EMBROIDERY

Place the dye and Pull using a squeegee, slowly so that the dye permeates to the surface of the shirt.

Before starting the embroidery need to measure each part of the shirt.

Once ready it is necessary in the hair dryer so that the dye dries quickly.

Embroidery session using an embroidery sewing machine that is run automatically after being programmed through a computer system.


HEAT PRESS

This embroidery machine is able to produce the same and even embroidery motifs.

This embroidery machine is a special machine that produces embroidery in quantities that are usually ordered according to the logo or image that has been selected according to the design of the customers.

Heat press printing, this sticker is a combination of digital printing and heat press transfer.

Open the sticker gently.


PROCESS FINISHING

After finishing, place the shirt on the heat press and press the sticker on the surface of the shirt for 30 seconds.

The process of cutting the excess yarn under the shirt.

Heat press needs to be lifted carefully after that need to open the sticker on the shirt.

Carefully when cut the threads.

I have started my interest in drawing since I was 13 years old. Make a drawing is able to increase creativity.
