Within our education curriculum, we use studies to guide our lesson planning. Studies are a broad concept that we focus on for 4-6 weeks. Currently our study has been all about Music. This month we will begin our Recycle Reduce Reuse Study. If you feel your family has something special to share in regards to our upcoming study, we would love family participation. Reach out!

Thank You to All of Our February Guests

Dan White, a parent volunteer here at Cultivate Mankato, visited a few of our classrooms last Friday morning. He then came back and joined us with his guitar in the Community Room during pick-up time. Thank you so much Dan! Special guest Anja Scheidel with Musikgarten was here visiting our toddler and preschooler classrooms! Last week she spent time with our toddlers. The children loved her and her music lessons! Anja is an Early Childhood Music & Movement Educator and offers many different classes for all ages! The children loved listening to the nursery rhymes Morgan played. They were so quiet watching her and gave her a huge round of applause when she was done! Mr Zack did a virtual visit for our preschoolers at the Hub. He played a lot of different instruments for the class, having them guess what type of animal they sound like. The children had lots of fun guesses!
