We are so sick of trends! There you have it. We are so over it. The fashion business is getting out of control, pressuring designers to do far too many collections each year and quite frankly we are tired of trying to keep up with pre-fall, couture, fall, resort, pre-spring and spring’s ten biggest trends for the next few weeks. The latest fashion and styles are everywhere, on your phone, on your computer screens, and in fashion magazines. It is overwhelming! Don’t get me wrong. We will still look at the collections, fall in love with new things and get inspired by what we see. But we are done chasing it. From now on, we focus on style and feature the images that inspire us, even though it might be an image from the fall collections during summer or whatever we decide. We are going to slow down and enjoy fashion, and the work of all the fiercely creative people in the business. Their work doesn´t deserve to get outdated so fast. We want to inspire our reader to find their authentic style, use the clothes they already have in different ways, or invest in something that makes sense for them. For a designer known for his minimalism, Derek Lam went in the opposite direction with his fragrance collection. Lam’s line of 10 ultra-modern, minimalist perfume scents, 10 Crosby, named after his shop on 10 Crosby in Soho New York is now available in Scandinavia. Each of the scents was inspired by a scene that could unfold on Crosby Street.

The cult German footwear brand BIRKENSTOCK and New York-based Proenza Schouler are joining forces, as they recently revealed their future design collaboration at the Proenza Schouler SS20 show during New York Fashion Week. The collaboration is unisex and features the iconic Arizona and Milano styles, which is reinterpreted by the unique brand codes of Proenza Schouler. On the surface, Birkenstock and Proenza Schouler may be in contrast to each other, however, they both
