Colour me stress-free

I’ve always enjoyed crafts and colouring with my son, but it was during the first wave of the pandemic that I became much more involved with it. I found it helped me to unwind from the stresses of work and shift my focus.

I’ve got lots of different books – some I use to record my favourite quotes, some to scrapbook scenic photos I’ve taken, and others I like to colour in.

I’m a naturally creative person and it’s good for me to have an outlet. Journaling and colouring allows me to do that. It reduces stress, allows creative energy to be harnessed and you can do it as a family.

I can sit down with my son and my mam (and my husband sometimes – though he won’t admit it) and take my mind away from any worries or troubles.
