CEO Of Express Billing

My name is Sarah Villery. I’m the CEO of Express Billing. I’ve been an entrepreneur for 29 yrs. I’m also Founder of Fasting and Prayer Revolution. Receiving this nomination on International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month is extremely meaningful to me. Because I, like so many other women have been through so much in my lifetime. I suffered mental, physical, emotional, sexual, and even spiritual abuse. I’m also a rape and domestic violence survivor. I’ve also had to deal with mental illness that runs in my family.

Two years ago, I took charge of my life. And since then I’ve made a complete 180. The trauma of my last divorce triggered a lot of pain, but it also pushed me deep into my healing journey. It was at that time that I made a decision to put an end to the repeated cycles of trauma. The relationship sparked up lots of past abuse. Today I want to spread the message that no matter how successful we may be in business and as entrepreneurs, the choices we make in our personal lives dictates the people that come into our life. Because when we ' re not healed we attract others that are not healed. Prior to meeting my last husband, I was at a place in my life where I was looking to be loved by someone. But what I truly needed was to love myself. Thankfully that, with prayer, and learning to love myself I was able to move forward and heal from the relationship. I had to seek counseling and really begin to understand and renew my mind. I lost alot, including close friends.

But as I begin to get some understanding of my mindset, and the bad choices I've made, I was able to forgive myself and give myself the same love that I had been looking for through relationships.

As soon as I truly accepted myself, and all of my mistakes, God began to open up doors for me as I enter into the 2nd phase of my life.

As I healed, every area of my life took a turn for the better.

My modeling career took off, and my Instagram following shot up to over 112,000 followers I've always had a heart to pray and minister to people And now I’m able to reach even more through social media, and all of my new connections I have the privilege of being an ambassador for so many prominent brands Today, I'm grateful that my life is so much better Everything may not be perfect But it's better than what it was

I want women to know that no matter what life deals you, stay positive You have the power and authority to take charge of your life As long as you don't give up, life will get better. Learn to love yourself. The process is not always easy, but it's worth it. Allow yourself to feel the sorrow, the anger, and the pain. It's in this process that you ' re pulling back the layers of yourself that no longer serve you. You’ll begin to change your environment, your company and your lifestyle. This is when you'll begin to forgive those that hurt you. But take baby steps, no need to rush. Keep pushing and persevering. God sees all and will reward you accordingly. He did it for me. He'll do it for you. You're worth it, I'm worth it. We're all worth it.
