Quality Assessor • Great career opportunity • Team based position We have an exciting opportunity at our Dargaville plant, for a person who is interested in joining our team as a Quality Assessor. Reporting to the Technical Compliance Manager, the position is instrumental in ensuring quality systems and inspections are implemented and maintained within processing department, and that processing operations are consistent with customer and regulatory requirements and company policy. This position is a rotational role over Night and Day Shift. The successful applicant will possess the following skills: • • • • •
Relevant experience in Quality Assurance/Control or Process Control Ability to work autonomously within a shift based team Display excellent leadership qualities and values An excellent understanding of the compliance requirements of a modern food processing plant Computer literacy in MS Excel, Word and Access.
The Quality Assessor will be responsible for Product Quality Checks and Food Safety requirements and any project work when required. The role involves championing quality initiatives and compliance, and implementation of all regulatory, customer and company standards.
