Message From the President

Dear Graduates of 2020 and 2021,

Congratulations on your graduation from Nevada State College! Not even a global pandemic could keep you from achieving your goals! We are so honored to be part of your journey and overjoyed to celebrate each of you today. Relish this moment in time; you have earned it. Today, we celebrate your academic achievements as the two largest graduating classes in college history.

You are the future! Your education will unlock doors and enable you to impact our community for the better. For many of you who are the first in your family to hold a degree, your achievement will change your entire family tree.

Once you are part of the Scorpion family, you will always be a Scorpion! You are forever part of the Nevada State College community. Thank you for being part of the important legacy we are building. I hope you will carry with you the inclusive culture that defines the Scorpion family. Please keep us updated about your future endeavors, and come back to campus anytime. As I prepare for a new adventure myself, please know that being your president has been the honor of a lifetime.
