Biblical Theology is an introduction to the entire Bible and is foundational to understanding the Christian faith through God’s Word. Biblical Theology is a survey class that covers the Old and New Testaments. It is designed to look at highlights of the text and to focus on a personal relationship with the Lord.

Major Concepts Covered

This is a course of study whereby the student gains a practical understanding of how the written Holy Scriptures came into existence. The student is introduced to topics of God’s redemptive work, our place within the biblical story, and the centrality of mission. This course of study aims to introduce students to the Bible, equipping them with a sound working understanding of the content structure, settings, and themes of both Old and New Testaments. It is designed to help students heighten their awareness of the Bible genealogy and provide insights into the major theological issues it addresses.

Insider Information

This class receives .75 credit because it meets four days per week. Students will have PE one day per week during this class time which counts as .25 elective credit.
