Theater Arts
Theater Arts students will be introduced to all the basic principles of Theatre Arts including pantomime, vocal performance, acting technique, improvisation, scene study, theatrical design and more. This is a blended class that offers hands on exercises and games as well as standard note taking, vocabulary, and other traditional class activities.

Tickets for attendance at both productions. If a student is cast in a production, there are ticket selling and program ad selling commitments.

Students are required to see both Squire Theatre productions during the year. Students may choose to audition for the productions but are not required to do so to be in the class.

Insider Information
This class will provide the student with an opportunity to take part in many different active exercises. However, the student should also know that there will be a balance of traditional classroom methods as well such as note-taking, quizzes, tests, and slight homework. You will be required to attend both shows and write a critique of both shows or audition and participate in the productions themselves. You are not required to audition to take the class, however. If you audition and complete the production, you will not have to write a critique.
Students will be required to see both Squire Theatre productions during the school year. They will need to purchase a ticket for each performance and write a critique of both productions. They may audition for the productions and participate, but they are not required to do so to take this class.
