Comic Pop Art Welcome to the National Treasure

This is the first part of a two-part project which tasked us to take a photo off of the internet and edit it to look as if it were in a comic book style Pop Art. Then we were asked to add text to the photo so I decided to make a joke because there were no limitations on what we could put in the text box.

Warhol Art Style The Cage theory

This is the second part of the comic pop art project in this one we took the same photo that we used for the comic pop art project and put it into the popular art style of Andy Warhol for these two projects I used Nicholas Cage because his face shows a lot of expression and because I thought it would be funny and it was.

Low-Poly Animal The red pandas magical advernure

For the low poly animal project, we were tasked with picking any animal, most likely our favorite animal and then taking it into Illustrator and using the pen tool and making triangles to capture the animals features but not let any of the original picture show through. So basically the project asked us to take an animal and recreate it using triangles.

Typography panpocolipse

For the typography project I took a picture of a panda stuck in a log that i found funny and then illustrated what the picture was about with one word and made design pice about it for National Park College.

Personal Logo I think my joke fell flat This is the personal logo that I designed for myself it uses a custom pen tooled logo that looks like a music note but also functions as he “N” and the “D” for the part of “Nick’s Design.” It is shown on a custom created background.

Identity Mock-up Finding nothing binder I placed my personal logo onto items that would be found in an office. By doing this it allows me to show what my personal logo would look like on items if they were real.

National Park Card The Lion, the witch and the weirdo As a class we were tasked with making a design for the National Park College Christmas card that would be sent out the community. One of the designs that I made for this project was inspired by the popular book and movie series Narnia as it depicts a lone lamp post surrounded by a snowy forest. The design itself is rather simplistic where I found a free to use picture of a forest and added the lamppost to it then I blended the lamppost and the snow so it looked as if it was a part of the scene

National Park Card stay pawsitive This is the second card that we designed for the college much like the first Christmas card it’s a simple card. I placed a puppy into the preselected picture and then put a shadow over it so it looked as if it had been a part of the original photo.

Band Poster Sun sun please shinedown on me

This is the band poster I designed which features two of my favorite bands both Shinedown and Disturbed by using the Shinedown album cover and a Disturbed song name. The design was made in Illustrator where I put an overlay of cracked cement over the image traced and resized Shinedown cover then I placed it over a black background and cut out the bird and finally put the text in.

Design Quote color pin For the low poly animal project, we were tasked with picking any animal, most likely our favorite animal and then taking it into Illustrator and using the pen tool and making triangles to capture the animals features but not let any of the original picture show through. So basically the project asked us to take an animal and recreate it using triangles.

KUHS Radio Logo Im radioactive This was a custom logo design that I made in Illustrator for the radio station KUHS located here in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The logo was made in Illustrator with the pen tool to make the interlocking custom shapes and then after the logo was done I copied it and placed it over the bottom layer and placed an outline on it then copied the logo that was made and put it in the color pallet that I had made.

Skills USA Tshirt The sticky bandit In this project I was tasked with creation a tshirt for the organization that runs through our class at National Park College. After much deliberation I decided to go with a design that featured sticky notes with fun and simplistic sketches to make the sticky notes look like they were in use.

Mutant Animal Project teenage mutant ninja poncho

For this project I found four animals and then combined them using Photoshop so I used the feature of three animals and used the color pallet of the fourth and final animal and then placed it in a background to show a possible habitat for the animal. I then placed a shadow on it so it looked as if it was a part of the background.
