We are already halfway through this year. More than 18 months have passed since our lives changed dramatically, and resolutions are beginning to be set in execution. But you and I know that it is not that easy, and very quietly, we put our goals on the shelf with the promise to put it into action next year. But every year our dream drifts away, and no one dares to remember you, not even you yourself, what at some point you wanted to accomplish.

The truth is that you can achieve everything that you want. You just need to make up your mind and turn your genuine intentions into action. I want to share 8 simple steps that can help you to stay strong and not abandon the plan to make this year, the year you have always dreamed of.

1BE REALISTIC.

The first thing we must do is to choose goals that we can really achieve in the short and long term. Evaluate your life and be honest with yourself. This will help you not to be so hard on yourself and not to get frustrated.

2FOCUS ON ONE GOAL.

Let us focus on one goal at a time first. Dividing the plan into achievable goals helps us not to lose heart and be able to execute.

3BE SPECIFIC

The ideal is to propose to do specific actions that contribute to the goal. For example, if you have proposed to learn

English, get the commitment to attend your conversational

English classes every Saturday, to learn two new words from the dictionary every morning, to order all your lunches in

English, and to see a NETFLIX program for 30 minutes every night. A specific plan will help you to achieve it!

4WRITE YOUR RESOLUTIONS

Writing your resolutions creates a greater connection between the mental and the physical, as it takes you from your mind to your heart. When we use handwriting it remains indelible in the memory, helping us to execute it.

5PLAN

The key to achieving that desired goal is planning. Using an agenda, it will be very useful for those specific things you have to do to carry out your objectives. The essential thing is to create specific, actionable steps.

6CELEBRATE YOUR PROGRESS

The results motivate us, so celebrate them! Achieving a change requires motivating yourself constantly. Either using applications on the cell phone or writing down in a notebook, you can carry a record of how you are advancing the goal.

7MAKE A COMMITMENT

Resolutions you keep secret can be hard to stick with when life gets busy. Sharing your goals with friends or your tribe will help you to commit, and this will encourage you to fulfill your projects. VERANO 2021

8YOUR “WHY” ARE IMPORTANT

Think why and write it down on a sheet of paper and post it on your vision board, in a place that you can see constantly, since those “why” are the reasons why it is an obligation to hug your fears, make them your friends and let them know that even with them you will act.

The truth is that the plan can change many times, but the goal will always be fixed. Action will be your greatest ally to fulfill your goals and purpose. And remember that ONLY you can decide when you are going to succeed. Then why wait to reach your dreams? Put your intentions into action.
