The team at the North Shore Culture Compass has created a number of Treasure Hunts.

Ask students to complete one of these, or to create their own that could be done either outdoors or online in teams or individually. Treasure hunts could involve geocaching, wayfinding, or be based on a particular theme.

Themed Treasure Hunts guide exploration of cultural assets all over the North Shore

REQUIRED MATERIALS:

cluesheet & pen/pencil comfortable walking shoes maybe an umbrella or sunscreen water & snacks

YOUR TASK:

1. Using the clues and map, locate the cultural treasure

2. Each treasure presents a letter (follow the clue) 3. Once you’ve found all the treasure, unscramble the letters to find the code word.
