School is back in session and all of you who are parents, or are going through kindergarten through college, should remember that the Contra Costa County Library System provides free, live, online tutoring in all subjects through our subscription to Brainfuse. There is more, though. We also provide free access to EBSCO Learning Express! EBSCO Learning Express is a terrific educational resource that supports learning for all ages at all levels and for a wide and wonderful variety of educational and professional goals.
The first learning module that you should know about is their College Admissions and Placement preparation module. In that module, you get practice tests and reviews for the SAT, ACT, AP, and TOEFL exams. A second module gives you practice tests and reviews for GRE and CLEP exams. There are also modules for High School Equivalency, Career Proficiency, K-12 Skills, Citizenship prep, and a module in Spanish. The resource is available 24/7 for free for anyone with a Contra Costa County Library Card. As always, if you have any questions, please contact the library staff.
