South Peace Senior Secondary’s classes of 1970-75 reunion a hit

On June 9 & 10 Dawson Creek hosted 400 former South Peace Senior Secondary students from 1970-75 and their guests for an amazing weekend.

There were many who attended to hadn’t seen one another since high school, over 50 years ago! It was incredible! The kick off was Friday night with a wine and cheese. Huge smiles and hugs and conversations cheerfully filled the Dawson Creek Curling Club where most of the events occurred.
Thank you Greg Wandling for providing a great selection of background music for the night. Saturday morning those who wanted to golf, and get up early after the late night before lol, hit the links.
This was all arranged by our terrific classmate, Jim Mah and our the local Farmington Golf Club. Golfers were treated to many hours of fun and registration included lunch and some amazing prizes donated by our local businesses. Saturday afternoon the upstairs of the curling club was open with a no host bar for those that wanted a place
