We offer you from middle of January to middle of February a once in a lifetime experience to meet the rulers of the sea! Our guides all have a lot of knowledge about the whales we see. We have certified skippers who are also experienced and certified divers. We have the right equipment and dry suits. These are included in the price. This magnificent species follow the herring in to the Andfjord on the East side of the Island Andøya in Vesterålen. You are in the middle of the Arctic; beside the whales, you can also experience the Arctic Lights and the Northern Lights. From April to August we aslo offer our wellknown and amazing Bird & Seal Safari. We meet on the surrounding islands of Andenes, 150.000 Puffins, Gannet’s, Razor Bills, Common Guillemots, White tailed eagles and many more bird species! The whale safari to the Sperm whales starts when the Orca’s has left, and is from middle of February to end of October. Now you can experience Killer Whales and Humpbacks as close as you have ever been! We bring you closer to sea level from a RIB boat (rigid inflatable boat) and you get the possibility to snorkeling with them. An experience you will never forget!
Snorkling with all equipment: 1550 NOK pp * Minimum 6 persons – max 12 persons.
* this is an unique experience and one you will never forget, but realize that you need to be healthy and in good shape. Although you will get a dry suit, it will be a cold experience and will take a lot of energy! It is a safe experience. We’ve had no negative experiences with the close contact with the Orca’s and Humpback’s. We expect nature respectable behavior of the ones who are joining us! Visitors who are not following the instructions of the experts will be excluded for the rest of the trips.
