Using mainly acrylics, often with mixed media for added texture, I paint landscapes and seascapes. Subjects vary from local Stonehaven scenes to Western Isles, New Zealand and my homeland Orkney. I will be painting throughout the week. On A90, travelling to Stonehaven, take second exit to Spurryhillock/Kirkton Garden Centre. I’m a sculptural artist and illustrator. Working in ceramic, paint and mixed media, I try to capture the humour & soulfulness; magic & wildness of the world around us. Looking forward to seeing you and sharing the Fyvie Artists’ Trail. Fyvie is North of Aberdeen, approximately 8 miles in between Oldmeldrum and Turriff on the A947. Turn off the main road into the village and just passed the Coop, the venue is on the left, opposite the public car park.
