What better way to make families smile than a visit from the Hockins ice cream van, and the alpacas from Woolley Animals?! A memorable day at the hospice.
Determined Hospice to Home nurses were a welcome sight to patients and families who were otherwise cut-off by the snow and ice this winter.
A couple in our care had a tradition of ringing in the New Year with tea at the Ritz. The husband was being cared for on our Bedded Unit this New Year’s Eve, but we still wanted to make it special. So, we laid on an elegant meal just for them.

We are full of pride for our girl, Jade!
Hospice supporter, Jade Kingdom, was stunned to receive a Pride of Britain Award in our Terrace Café. She is the first woman with Down Syndrome to complete a sprint triathlon, raising thousands for the hospice in the process.

We welcomed a new housekeeping team. They keep the hospice safe and clean, as well as providing a welcoming presence to all our patients, families and visitors.
