Living and Studying at NIC Tuition, Textbooks and Supplies NIC charges tuition based on credits. As new NIC international students you are required to pay a one-term or two-term tuition deposit before receiving the Letter of Acceptance. Books and other supplies are not included in the tuition deposit and must be paid separately upon or before arrival. Estimated cost of the program can be found online.

TOTAL Work while you study
As an international student, you may be allowed to work up to 20 hours per week during regular academic sessions, and full-time during scheduled breaks in winter and summer. Many businesses in NIC campus areas hire NIC students regularly. Our provincial minimum wage is $15.20 per hour as of September 2021. Students working full-time in a co-op/internship position may earn up to $10,000 during the scheduled break term.
