JILL GAMBLEN Director of Banking Applications Renewal Jill Gamblen is the Director, Banking Applications Renewal for Inventure Solutions Inc., a Vancity Company. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, Jill provides strategic organizational leadership and is responsible for the successful delivery of a new Core Banking system. Prior to joining Inventure, Jill worked with TELUS Communications Inc. where she served as Project Director, Managed Retail Banking and lead the delivery teams who provided a wide range of business solutions to the financial services sector. Previous to TELUS, Jill worked at CGI and Richmond Savings where she had a broad range of IT responsibilities. Jill is a senior information technology professional with extensive experience in strategic planning, technology management, project management, and business development. These skills have been developed over her career spanning 25 years in the technology industry. Throughout her career, Jill has been asked to undertake numerous mission critical projects that have involved multiple constituents with divergent views and has succeeded in creating win/win paradigms and business solutions that get approved and implemented. She is known for leading teams in creating innovative solutions by bridging business needs with emerging technology and seeing the solution through to implementation with a formal yet practical approach to project delivery.
DANNY BANDIERA Manager of Technical Services and IT Operations, Pacific Blue Cross Danny Bandiera is the Manager of Technical Services and IT Operations at Pacific Blue Cross. Danny plans, directs and manages the Technology Services department ensuring the development and implementation of costeffective systems and efficient computer operations to meet current and future decision making requirements. With nearly 2 million members covered, Pacific Blue Cross is the market leader and most trusted provider of Extended Health Care and Dental coverage to residents of British Columbia and through its subsidiary, Blue Cross Life, life insurance and disability income protection. For over 20 years Danny has been influential in providing support and leadership to organizations in various industries which include banking, policing and insurance. Danny holds a diploma in IT Operations from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Danny is a member of the Association for Computer Operations Management, Vancouver It Professionals, Business Continuity Disaster Recovery Professionals and the Canadian Information Processing Society.
