Day 1: Arrive Copenhagen Arrive in the capital of Denmark either via the Great Belt Bridge or via the ferry from Puttgarten to Rødby. Maybe have a city tour round in Copenhagen and see some of the main attractions like the royal castle, Nyhavn and more. Overnight at Clarion Hotel Copenhagen.

Day 3: Helsinki – Lappeenranta (226 km) Arrive in Helsinki and leave the modern world behind you and head for the Finnish Lake District; the largest in Europe. Day 4: Lappeenranta – Leppävirta (265 km) Lappeenranta is also known as the city of Linden, with it’s 1800 Linden trees lined along the streets. Day 7: Borganes – Reykjavik Today you come to the historic Thingvellir. Here was the Icelandic parliament founded in the year 930, and was held here in open air for more than 1000 years until it was moved to Reykjavik.
