SECOND SHIFT MAINTENANCE PARTS CLERK / BUYER Responsibilities to include but are not limited to: • Ensures a safe and clean work environment by complying with all company procedures, rules and regulations. • Maintaining all manufacturing equipment spare parts inventories at the proper levels. • Perform regular cycle counts on all parts to ensure that the mechanical team is checking parts out of the stock room correctly and report discrepancies to management. • Follow up with the supervisors on the preventive maintenance procedures to ensure they are adequate for maintaining continuous operation. Make changes in MP2 program as directed by management to make the PM’s more accurate and thorough. • Conserves maintenance resources by using least cost analysis investigations on a continuous basis. • Continuously evaluate all suppliers for timely deliveries and acceptable quality of their products. • Works as a Team Player with all groups within the facility. • Provide management the input needed to schedule equipment repairs based on the availability of parts. • Provide management with accurate and timely budget reports on a predetermined schedule. • Accurately track all PM schedules, enter maintenance labor and completion of all work orders and PM’s using the MP2 program. • Be an active member of one of the safety related teams and attend meetings. • Shipping and receiving of all supplies and tracking of shortages/overages and report to the supplier and management for follow up. • Monitor Min/Max levels of the inventory to ensure that parts are stocked correctly based on lead times and usages.
