Alan, 53, of Ute recently underwent surgery for a Glioblastoma Mulitform (GBM) high grade 4 brain tumor. He is currently receiving radiation and chemotherapy at the June E. Nylan Cancer Center in Sioux City. He has been a resident of Ute for 25 years with two children, Casey Golden of Mapleton and Abbie Carstensen, a senior at Charter Oak-Ute. Alan’s prognosis was not the best and his wishes are to make it to his daughter’s graduation in May 2014. Due to Alan’s brain tumor he is no longer able to work or drive. Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used towards expenses incurred during treatment.
It will be the highest quality Iowa grown Christmas tree available and it will be freshly cut. Take the family along...put some real Christmas into the holidays!
