Road Foreman
Crawford County is accepting applications from individuals with the qualifications for the position of Crawford County Road Foreman (Maintenance/ Construction Supervisor). This position is a salaried position with the responsibility of supervising and directing the efforts of the Crawford County Secondary Road Department maintenance and construction staff and equipment, as directed by tthe Crawford County Engineer. The Crawford County Road Foreman is “on-call” 24 hours a day for emergency situations and winter road maintenance operations. The successful canidate must live in or be willing to relocate within 3 months to Crawford County. Crawford County will award this job to the applicant deemed the most qualified for the job. Preference will be given to applicants having experience and/or education in the engineering and construction fields; having demonstrated excellent communicator, supervisory and human realation skills; having demonstrated abilities to work in a safe, professional, efficient manner; and having demonstrated experience working with the public in a safe, couteous, and efficient manner.
