Young Exhibition Makers 2019
Hi Y.Ex’ers, It has been an absolutely amazing experience being able to work with you all this Spring! It’s incredible to think of the growth you all made since March. Each of you entered CG-95 an individual carrying personal experiences and knowledge, which you learned to exchange and advance throughout this curatorial process. What is most admirable is how you all also found a way to play into not only your own but each others’ strengths in order curate an amazing exhibition, InJustUs, which moved every visitor that entered the Kings County D-Lobby! Although, you are all “Young” exhibition makers, you all regularly showed maturity and wisdom beyond your years, which was evident in the themes you chose to tackle within InJustUs. You were all conscious in not only choosing themes affect each of you personally but your respective communities. That in itself is power. A power we hope that you all continue to hone and exude!
