The two antenna are extendable up to 85 mm, thank to their shape they easily stick into any type of soil, al lowing the device to stand straight. They catch the vibrations produced by the plant and send them to the inner circuit that traduces them into data. These data are finally sent to an App that gives to the user infor mations about the well being of the plant: humidity of the soil, temperture, light exposure etc.

Plant bioacoustics refers to the crea tion of sound waves by plants. Plan ts detect neighbors by means other than well-established communicative signals including volatile chemicals, light detection, direct contact and root signaling. Because sound wa ves travel efficiently through soil and can be produced with minimal energy expenditure, plants may use sound as a means for interpreting their en vironment and surroundings. Becau se plant roots respond only to sound waves at frequencies which match waves emitted by the plants themsel ves, it is likely that plants can receive and transduce sound vibrations into signals to elicit behavioral modifica tions as a form of below ground com munication.
