Statement of Purpose We are a New Mexico-based multi-racial, multicultural, multi-generational collective organized to support, promote, and encourage all women to pursue all expressions of creativity. Our Collective will enhance our creativity and our community by enriching ourselves with knowledge of one another’s works and the work of artists not in Rainbow Artists. We do not intend our dues or hanging fees to restrict any woman from membership. Membership is open to those who endorse this statement. We will continually improve our art, our relationship with one another, and our association with the community. We will keep abreast of exhibits, performance opportunities, contests and grants. Working together, we hope not only to gain financial support and recognition for our individual art forms, but to create projects which benefit our group and our community as a whole. Our Collective evolves from working together with understanding and friendship. Our strength comes from our multi-racial, multi-cultural, multigenerational membership.
