The Flyover Club is a concept club for aspiring performers and buskers. It is to be proposed as a prototype for the Public Private Partnership program to revitalize the residual spaces under the flyover.
Our earliest communities have engaged in busking for a very long time. There were buskers in Ancient Egypt, Rome, Greece and India. Since the creation of public areas, buskers have been performing in them, from mediaeval French artistes to contemporary Mexican band. Busking predates the theatre and has outlived the CD. It is, historically, the single most common expression of the human spirit: a viable, honourable, and traditional way of making a living.
