FORCES OF NATURE (AGES 6-10) YSCN145 Fasten your seat belts, we’re in for some wild weather! We are going to build the amazing and powerful forces of nature, as students explore the when, where, how and why of all kinds of natural phenomenons. Participants will be building: Tornado, Avalanche, Cyclone, Tsunami, Whirlpool and an Earthquake. Learn how they move, why they happen and what you can do to stay safe! JR. VETERINARIAN DOCTOR TRAINING & DISSECTION (AGES 7-12) YSCN113 Do you want to learn what it takes to be a Veterinarian? Do you have a passion to help animals and learn how? Would you love to experience first hand how to dissect and perform surgery? Your curiosity will be peaked every second of this class as you become a surgeon and dissect specimens. You will learn how the different systems work harmoniously together to create wonderful creatures. Take videos and pictures to help you remember this unique opportunity for the rest of your life! You will be changed after this class. Dream big and go after it. A $25 cash materials fee can be paid to the instructor at the beginning of class.

MAD SCIENCE: BIRDS, BEASTS & CRAZY CHEMISTRY (AGES 6-12) YSCN162 Study Biology as you become an Ornithologist and discover the unique characteristics of birds. Investigate feathers to see how birds fly. Dissect owl pellets to find out what they eat. Make your own seed mixture to attract your favorite species of birds to your own yard. MAD SCIENCE: CAMP EUREKA (AGES 6-12) YSCN161 This is a camp designed to inspire the inventor and scientist in you! Each day campers will be given challenges which must be accomplished by using basic materials, tips from world famous inventors, your newly acquired science knowledge and the most important thing of all – your mind. MAD SCIENCE: SPY ACADEMY (AGES 6-12) YSCN117 Become a Mad Science secret spy and take a fascinating journey into the world of detection, forensics and classified information. Learn code language to send secret messages as part of your mission. Go undercover and decode messages from other agents using your top secret clearance. Investigate a pretend crime scene and sift through clues to crack the case. Join the Mad Science Bureau of Investigation and sniff out forgeries and counterfeits. Take home projects include a detective kit, spy glasses and more!
