Nino Jefferson Lim

Nino Jefferson Lim founded Island Pacific Market in March of 2000. After establishing his first location in Panorama City, CA, he has effectively expanded the business over the last twenty years to encompass 16 locations and a recent expansion to Las Vegas. Island Pacific Market serves the largest minority population in California—the Filipino community. He grew up in similar markets as a child and young adult, his mother even owning one for some time. However, the competition eventually led to her bankruptcy. Nino Lim, witnessing her struggle, promised to win back the market and beat out the competitors. He can proudly say he fulfilled that vow.
