8 GENETICS Since the herd was established there has always been a focus on breeding with an emphasis on type. The results speak for themselves and the quality of the herd is clearly apparent within seconds of entering the shed. The cows are wide from front to back and have strong frames and are in excellent body condition. Udder quality is simply phenomenal with one of the best line up of udders you will see in one herd. The latest classification saw 17 new Excellent cows, 39 new Very Good cows, 14 new Very Good milking heifers and 24 new Good Plus heifers. The sale will have a total of 41 Excellent, 141 Very Good and 138 Good Plus animals selling. Recently daughters of the Excellent 96 Immunity Plus sire Melarry Fuel have been impressing in the milking parlour. Special daughters of Farnear Delta-Lambda, ABS Sassafras, De-Su Spring Silverado, Legend-Maker Victor, Sandy-Valley Amerix and Silverridge V Elude also sell. YOUNG-STOCK Day two features 165 young-stock comprising 30 in calf heifers, 55 strong bulling heifers and 77 yearling heifers born in the first part of 2021. There is no doubt of the quality on offer on Day 2 and that the best part of this must attend event is these stylish heifers.
