Medic Minute Medic Patient Reunion Medic celebrated another great patient reunion, last Monday, June 16th! Mr. Freligh went into cardiac arrest while walking his dog in his Charlotte neighborhood on April 6th. Two ladies in the area saw Mr. Freligh lying on the Mr. & Mrs. Freligh (far left & right) celebrate the successful ground, called 911, and were given bystander CPR efforts of a fellow neighbor (middle) and instructions on how to perform CPR. Paramedics Rebecca Norris and Colby Willison. CFD and Medic arrived shortly to the scene. Mr. Freligh is a survivor today due to effective bystander CPR, early Advanced Life Support Intervention, and excellent patient care

To accommodate for the LYNX Blue Line Extension construction project, 36th Street in the NoDa area of Charlotte will remain closed between Davidson and North Tryon Streets for approximately two years. Motorists are advised to use Davidson Street -> Jordan Place - >Matheson Avenue -> and North Tryon Street as a detour route.
Medic Community Blood Drive In support of Medic employee Eric Hudspeth, the Agency will host a community blood drive on Tuesday, 1st and Wednesday, July 2nd from 2:00—4:00 pm.
