On behalf of the Board of Directors, we’d like to thank the homeowners who attended the 2022 Annual Meeting on July 16th. For the first time since 2018, we had a quorum and were able to conduct official business at the meeting. We felt that Mount Airy Lodge provided a great space for us and have booked it again for our 2023 Annual Meeting next July. We will also make sure there is better signage directing our members to our meeting space. We truly appreciate our homeowners that took time out of their busy schedules to attend.
By now you’ve seen the construction at the pool and the playground area. For sure, this is an exciting time at Pocono Farms. Our management team has been working closely along with our ad-hoc Pool Committee to keep the project moving along on schedule. We’re all looking forward to seeing the progress updates that will be sent to the community as the project continues. Hopefully Mother Nature will give us a break with a late Fall / early Spring and our new pool and splash pad for the younger residents will be ready for a Memorial Day Weekend grand opening.
We would like to remind you that now is the time to volunteer for a Pocono Farms committee. Committees run from August through July each year. Committee descriptions can be found on our website, along with applications. Residents can also get more information and applications from our Member Services office. Volunteering for a committee is a great way to have your voice heard and be a part of what makes this community run.
