Fall 2022 | 8 weeks | 7,500 SF |Roanoke, VA

This 8 week project based in Roanoke, Virginia helped us understand the trends and factors impacting design of an essential contemporary workplace typogology: coworking. This complex becomes a dynamic coworking space inspired by Landor and Fitch, a graphic design company that revovles around being bold and creating new experiences. As a company that revolves around being bold and diverse it was important to drive that into the concept.

This Building plan is composed according to the shape of the site, maximizing overall building utilization. The layout focuses on wanting to create a sense of movement throughout the space. Adding a sense of fluidity to allow the space to feel more dynamic and inviting.

Redifining a coworking space to allow for a sense of belonging through diverse spaces through a combnation of color and curvature. This includes creating a space that allows for a sense of stimulation and creation.

Morning Rush - the corner of Salem Avenue and Williamson Road in Roanoke, Virginia is a painting by Bonnie Mason which was uploaded on July 3rd, 2016.

Downtown Roanoke was created by then fourteen year old artist, Brook Ludy. Original art that captures several prominent landmarks located in the beautiful downtown Roanoke.
