INTRODUCTION

Hi! My name is Nicole Castro and I’m a third year interior design student at Virginia Tech. I have always been passionate about design and It’s ability to impact the many aspects of our lives. Growing up I have always been conscious of my surroundings and always had an appreciation for the spaces I walk in. I believe that interior design is no longer solely about aesthetics. In recent years the psychological aspects of interior design have been investigated in more depth. Human-centric design strategy has become vital in the production of functionally successful spaces. I enjoy being able to understand the pshycological aspect of curating a space and applying that passion to my projects.

Outisde of studio I enjoy a lot of reading, hiking and learning how to cook new dishes.
