SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER 2010-2012

At 303 Magazine, I started as an Intern worked my way up to Graphic Designer and eventually, Senior Graphic Designer. Interning was by far the best experience to date. My idol/Creative Director took me under his wing and allowed me to assist on various photo-shoots. By assist, I mean get coffee, tape shoes, return clothes, whatever he needed I did. In turn, I took what he taught me and moved up to Graphic Designer, a paid position. It was one of the best days of my life. As a Graphic Designer, I helped re-design their logo, layout, marketing materials and update the website. I was also given the opportunity to Art Direct a couple photo-shoots, as well as, come up with concepts for editorial and social media. 303 Magazine was responsible for creating Denver Fashion Week. It has grown to be a big deal, and I am really honored to have played a part in it. I was given the duty of managing backstage. I was in charge of models, stylists, makeup artist, designers, and boutique owners. It was chaos, but I loved every minute.

I eventually was promoted to Senior Graphic Designer. We lost our Art Director, and I was able to pick up those responsibilities, including managing the art team; I carried the duties of the Art Director but not the title (to be fair I wasn’t qualified at that time to earn that specific title). I also worked with our Sales and Marketing team to create material for print and digital platforms. I really enjoyed my time with 303 Magazine. The experience poured the foundation for who I am as a creative professional.Â

Rally Shop Local began as a marketing firm for small businesses. With all tribulations, you can take the opportunity to grow. BRANDING

Elizabeth and Travis Hetland are a modern day renaissance couple. They have traveled across the Not only am I grateful to work with such a beautiful family, but the opportunity to be part of the world, lived off the land, and love making pizza. whole brand; from the container design, logo, menu, and website was a great experience. My connection with the Hetland’s, allowed me to tell their story through the process and final product. When branding Hetty’s Wood Fire Pizza, I wanted every detail to reflect the essence of the Hetland’s. Everything from the truck’s unique container design, wood fire oven, and the table it sits on were built by the Hetland’s. Everything they do, they do with love and hard work. I wanted the logo to be subtle and not take away from the truck’s design. Simple, sophisticated, with an artisan flavor to add an organic element. Afterall, they are “farm to truck.” With the wood background and the burnt logo, we were able to achieve our look and have it blend with the rest of the design.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR 2018-present

I was introduced to Shawn Rivett, and I instantly fell in love with his aesthetic, talent and creativity. Branding Shawn Rivett Design’s into a luxury lifestyle brand gives him the room to progress with I was inspired by his art, and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with him and his team. his art and grow as a company. The rebrand was a success. The look and the concept that was devised exudes luxury. Problem-solving and strategizing is my favorite part of the creative process. After reviewing his business, demographic, and current marketing strategy, I came to the conclusion Shawn is an artist in the wrong market. We were able to develop our influential audience. We defined a specific demographic across social media outlets, as well as, worked on building connections with instrumental players in the art and design world.
