Dear friend: The Lansing schools are in crisis. Our district needs more community support, more parental involvement, more revenue, and more sensible decision-making. We are joining together to recommend a new face on the Lansing School Board who will lead us to a better school district: Nicole Armbruster. Nicole is a rare commodity. She has: • Served on the school board since January and is the only Lansing School District parent on the board. • A long record of service to our school district, including as a member of the Lansing School District Parent Community Advisory Council, where she has been an outspoken advocate for parents and kids. • Volunteered at her son’s school regularly and as vice president of the Lewton Elementary PTA. • Already started making a difference on the school board, including first steps to restore educational quality and financial integrity to the district.
