This book can be read linearly (on the analytical side) or as a whole by untying the knots on the binding and recomposing the image. The red string holding the book together, however, is too short to be tied again—once untied, you cannot go back. Similarly, once one makes an effort to truly know and all the emotions and memories that make up a person, going back to seeing that person as a cold list of alphabetized words is quite impossible.
