NCAR Outreach provides the larger Boulder area with an iconic community center. The program is tailored to the views having the public and busy spaces facing the city, while private spaces face serene mountains. The project as a whole was designed to emulate the nature around the site to provide a beneficial education environment. Hosting 14 micro apartments, this design accommodates international students to learn from the top scientific facilities this country has to offer. This facility has education spaces for students K-12 as for university students. The main programs of the proposed design includes: education space, communal space, and residential space. This connection between the education and residential space contains a gym and cafeteria. Proposed facilities enable students to have a separation between work life balance.
