By Nia Robles

Since October 2013, Nia Robles has serves as vice president of global marketing and sales at HW Tours and Cruises. Away from her professional duties, Nia Robles supports charitable organizations such as Danita's Children. Danita's Children is a nonprofit organization that aims to provide support for children in Haiti. It provides, among many things, medical services through its medical center. The medical center is made possible through the participation of medical volunteers. Danita's Children Medical Center is accepting physician and dentist volunteers as well as allied health sciences professionals, such as nurses, physical therapists, and pharmacists. Volunteers are required to provide up-to-date routine immunization records and check with the Centers for Disease Control for additional immunization requirements. No visa is required, as a US passport enables the bearer to stay in Haiti for a maximum of six months. During their stay, volunteers will be housed in a basic hotel or guest room. Danita's children provides for the meals of all medical volunteers. Typical clinic hours are between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
