Diversity and Inclusion

NC has a number of diversity and inclusion initiatives including:

› The annual WorldDISH event, coordinated by the International Division, NC Student Administrative Council (NCSAC), and the Centre for Student Engagement and Leadership (CSEL).

› A task force to develop NC’s inaugural blueprint for diversity and inclusion by end of spring 2021. This work is part of our commitment to create a more inclusive, diverse, and culturally and globally engaged College. The taskforce’s work will also inform the upcoming strategic plan discussions.

› Signing of the Dimensions Charter on Equity.

› Installation of a rainbow crosswalk at both campuses, a student led initiative championed by NC’s Student Administrative Council, to celebrate equality, inclusivity, and acceptance in support of the College’s LGBTQ2+ community.
